Wondering how many episodes will Tsurune Season 2 release this year? When will the English dubbed episodes get released? All details have been shared below for everyone to read.
Tsurune has made a place for itself in the sports anime genre. While the other anime in this genre focus on well-known sports such as soccer, basketball, and volleyball, Tsurune is all about Kyudo, a Japanese modern martial arts form of archery.
Its beautiful animation and rather calming concept have garnered fans from all over the world.
Viewers often choose what anime to watch considering the length of the series. While a standard series has 12 episodes, it varies based on the content it covers. A season needs to have an ending that does not seem abrupt.
In this article, we have covered everything we know so far about the number of episodes Tsurune Season 2 will feature. You can consider it as an episode guide if you are planning to watch the anime.
Tsurune-The Linking Shot: Plot, Light Novel
Tsurune is an adaptation of Kotoko Ayano’s school sports novel, which she originally submitted for the 7th Kyoto Animation Awards. It was titled “Yata no Mori Kyuudoujou” and won a Special Judge Award in the novel category in May 2016.
Kyoto Animation published the first volume by the name Tsurune- Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu through its KA Esuma Bunko imprint in December of that year, featuring illustrations by Chinatsu Morimoto.
The anime follows the story of Minato Narumiya, who quit Kyudo because of an incident in middle school. With the help of Masaki, his new mentor, and his friends from high school he regains his passion for Kyudo.
Minato and the members of the Kazemai Kyudo Club enter various competitions to prove their mettle in the sport. They face and overcome multiple difficulties as they move ahead in their journey to be the best versions of themselves.
The light novel has 3 volumes so far. The next volume will likely be out sometime in 2024. The first season of the anime covered the entirety of the first volume. We can expect that the second season will cover the second volume completely.
